Picklers, Giant Zucchini, Yellow & Green Roma Beans, Green Beans, and Wax Beans, plus Basil, will be ready for this Friday. Also, the Corn date has been moved up to the 15th. This warm burst of weather has been the push the growing vegetables have needed. Lots of rain, and not enough warmth or sun, makes for slow growth. So, this warmth is just what the Doctor ordered for the vegetables.
The lettuces are gone for now, as this warmth has caused them to bolt. We have more in the field, and more to be planted, but it will be a bit before they are ready. We’ll keep you informed.

We’ll be posting many more recipes during the summer – SOOOO, if you have a favorite recipe you’d like to share with us, post it here, email us, or drop it off at the farm in the cash box, and we’ll type it up, and add it to our files.
We still have flowers available, hangers, and pots, and even pepper plants & tomatoes and a few squash plants left. The Veggie plants will be disappearing very soon, so if you’re one of those that have gotten a late start on your own garden, stop by this weekend, or it will be to late to grab some plants. The flowers will still be around – so no fear there.
Now all we need is, TOMATOES!!!
